In keeping with its Identity and Values Statement valuing spiritual growth and being a community without borders, a church without walls, Cedar Park is offering Bible Study in cyberspace!
“Beyond Wood and Stone” is a Bible study blogspace designed for those who want to explore the Scriptures together online in a protected ‘open space’ learning environment dedicated to Cedar Park United Church folk and friends. It is a virtual study/exploration group that meets in cyberspace 24/7 rather than in a church meeting room at a given time and date.
The site is hosted and moderated by Elisabeth Jones, director of studies at the United Theological College. Each week Elisabeth will post a Lectionary Musing page and a Psalm of the Week. You are welcome to read the postings and add comments, contributions, questions, and discussion to any of the posts.
