To kick off the 2010-2011 season, CPUCH is proud to present John Landon, performing many of your favourite James Taylor songs.  Although John is a newcomer to our stage, he is certainly no stranger to the Montreal Coffee House scene and we’re delighted to welcome him.  Don’t miss the warm dulcet tones of the man, his guitar and the melodies made famous by James Taylor!

Back by popular demand it’s the Purich Family: Cathy, Peter, Marco and Leo.  Once again they’ll be sharing with us their remarkable talents and enthralling us with new selections.  This talented family is a MUST-SEE!

“Recitations – Prose and Poetic”

In the second half you’ll be treated to “Recitations – Prose and Poetic”, a collection of readings by CPU’s charming raconteur, Bob Birnie.  Ah!  The flowers that bloom in the spring!

We never know how many they’ll be – could be three, could be more!  But however many they are, one thing’s for certain – they’ll make us want to sing those folk songs we love so well.  Don’t miss this vibrant group!

Group Sight-Singing Classes for Adults are held during the daytime throughout the year. Learn to read and sing music at sight. These 8-week courses are offered at 3 levels. No previous experience is necessary. Registration is required and there is a fee. Next session starts in October.

Looking for some Friday night fun with your family? Too tired to cook, but don’t want to spend a fortune going out or ordering in? Come join us for a home-cooked meal at Cedar Park and stick around for a movie we all can enjoy. Don’t stay home alone when we can enjoy being together:  It’s F4 time!

Our F4 2010 kick-off will be on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Feel free to arrive a bit earlier if you would like to join the kitchen crew. The cost of the evening is a donation, with the suggested price being $5 for adults and $3 for children 5 and over. More information, including the menu and film title, will be coming your way as the date approaches! Our next F4 evenings are October 22 and November 5.
