“The Purich Family Band”
We just can’t get enough of them! The Purich Family Band delighted one and all at the latest Cedar Park Coffee House: Cathy, Peter, Marco and Leo. On April 25, 2012, as part of our Cedar Park LiveWell Series, former Buddhist monk, Stephen Schettini, presented a fascinating talk about the development of personal integrity as a spiritual path.
This session was entitled Mindful Reflection, and offered ways to find peace, gain insight and cultivate compassion as well as to learn practical methods to manage everyday stress.

Some 30 men, women and children came in out of the pouring rain to be part of our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 PM. In the quiet, semi-lit sanctuary, Rev. Elisabeth Jones led a a simple contemplative service to begin Lent, a season in the Christian year when we “pay attention” to the life of Jesus and our lives.
Throughout the Lenten season, Cedar Park United offers a variety of ways to do this, through worship and Christian study, both at the church and on the Web as part of Rev. Elisabeth’s blog. We hope you’ll join us!
