Recently, a few members of Cedar Park’s Free the Children Youth in Action Group joined Craig Kielburger at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, where they received a plaque honouring their work, along with that of nine other Montreal Free the Children groups. The plaque was presented by HRH Prince Edward, and the kids had an opportunity to chat with him. Cedar Park’s group was represented by Zac Clarke, Brian Clarke, Kimberley Fortin, and Amanda Nash, and they were accompanied by our refugee family from Tchad.
